You go along the banks of the Adige, Mincio and Po, from Legnago to Ostiglia passing through Mantua. Ostiglia is a “mythical” destination for Venetian cycle tourism, Treviso – Ostiglia (only partially completed) is one of the most important itineraries.
Ostiglia is a small town that experiences the presence of a large thermoelectric plant with discomfort and regrets the past as an important river port. Finishing the Treviso – Ostiglia could help its rebirth.
Quite well marked, it takes place on embankments, secondary roads and cycle paths in a dedicated location. I have not found institutional links to the part on the Adige; from the Adige to the Mincio along the Path of the Risorgive, from the Mincio to Mantua the Mantua – Peschiera, from Mantua to Ostiglia the Ciclovia del Po. Embankments with excellent bottom, apart from a few kilometers after Mantua to reach the Po Cycle Route. Legnago and Ostiglia can be easily reached by train.
